124th Foundation Day of Ilocos Sur National High School

 

We made the props ourselves using the materials we gathered. It took time and effort, but we successfully completed them.

We practiced our dance several times to improve our performance. With each rehearsal, we became more confident and coordinated.

All the students of ISNHS participated in the parade. Everyone joined together, making the event lively and full of energy.

We performed our presentation with confidence and enthusiasm. Everyone gave their best, making the performance successful and memorable.

Memories and Milestones: My Last Year in SSC

    This quarter is very meaningful to me because it marks the final chapter of my journey in SSC. As the school year comes to an end, I realize that this will be my last year experiencing many of the moments that shaped my time here. Throughout my years in SSC, I have learned valuable lessons not only from my classes but also from the people around me. The experiences, challenges, and memories I gained will always be part of who I am.

    One of the things I will miss the most is being with my fellow SSC students. Over the years, we shared many moments together—studying, participating in activities, and supporting one another through both good and difficult times. These shared experiences helped us build strong friendships and unforgettable memories. As we prepare to move up, I feel both happy and emotional because we are reaching an important milestone in our lives.

    Moving up means stepping into a new chapter filled with new opportunities and responsibilities. While the future may bring challenges, I know that the lessons and memories from SSC will guide me as I continue my journey. The values, knowledge, and friendships I gained here will always remain with me wherever I go.

    As this quarter ends, I look back with gratitude for all the experiences SSC has given me. Though this chapter of my life is coming to a close, the memories I made with my fellow students will always stay in my heart. Together, we move forward toward our dreams, carrying the lessons of our SSC journey with us.

Empowered Women, Empowered Nation

Every March, the Philippines celebrates National Women’s Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the important roles and contributions of women in society. The celebration highlights the achievements of women in different fields such as education, leadership, science, health, and community development. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the challenges women have faced throughout history and the progress made toward equality and empowerment.

National Women’s Month encourages people to respect and support women’s rights. Schools, organizations, and communities often hold activities such as seminars, awareness campaigns, and programs that promote gender equality. These activities help educate people about the importance of giving women equal opportunities and protecting them from discrimination and violence.

This celebration also reminds society that women are powerful agents of change. Many women continue to inspire others through their hard work, courage, and dedication to improving their communities. A Future in Caring: My Dream to Become a Nurse

 Many people have dreams that guide them toward their future, and my dream is to become a nurse and work abroad. Nursing is a profession that focuses on caring for people, helping them recover, and supporting them during difficult times. I have always admired nurses because of their dedication, compassion, and strength. Seeing how they help patients inspired me to pursue this career and make a difference in the lives of others.

Becoming a nurse requires hard work, patience, and strong determination. I know that I will need to study many subjects such as science, health care, and patient care skills. Although the journey may be challenging, I believe that every effort will help me get closer to my dream. Through education and training, I hope to gain the knowledge and skills needed to provide quality care for patients.

Another goal I have is to work abroad as a nurse. Many Filipino nurses choose to work in other countries where they can gain more experience and better opportunities. Working abroad will allow me to support my family, experience different cultures, and grow professionally. It will also allow me to represent Filipino nurses who are known around the world for their compassion, dedication, and excellent service.

In the future, I hope to achieve this dream and become a successful nurse who helps people in need. My dream is not only about having a career but also about making a positive impact on others’ lives. With determination, hard work, and faith in myself, I believe that my dream of becoming a nurse and working abroad will someday become a reality.
